Laser hair removal is a reliable and effective way to get rid of unwanted facial and body hair. It is a completely safe method that is increasingly preferred. The technology is a laser pulse that is attracted to the melanin in the hair (the color of the hair) and heats it to a high temperature. As a result, the hair bulb is destroyed. It won’t grow another hair for a very long time.
Since the laser pulse is only attracted by the color of the hair, it does not affect the surrounding tissue. The laser beam has a wavelength of 810 nm, which means it can only penetrate hair. It cannot reach internal organs. This makes laser hair removal completely safe.
The sensation during the procedure is of a slight warming in the training area and a slight prickling.
